InReach Rehab is seeking a motivated and experienced Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech‑Language Pathologist to join our growing team as a Traveling Director of Rehabilitation. This leadership role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about exceptional patient care and ready to guide the clinical and operational success of a rehab department.
This position includes interim director assignments of 6‑12 months at one of our Midwest locations, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role if desired. The assignment is part of the Midwest Regions I 6‑12 Month Interim Assignments with Potential for Permanent Placement.
Responsibilities- Lead and support the therapy team while promoting a high‑performance, patient‑centered culture.
- Develop, implement, and review operational policies, procedures, and clinical practices.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain current knowledge of rehab best practices.
- Build relationships with leaders across the company.
- Collaborate to ensure coordinated services and strong patient outcomes.
- Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing staff development.
- Monitor department performance, billing practices, and support budgeting and financial goals.
- Track therapy outcomes and implement strategies to improve quality and access.
- Serve as a clinical resource for complex cases and support therapist growth.
- Maintain a patient caseload and treat alongside your team.
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech‑Language Pathology.
- Current or anticipated licensure as a PT, OT, or SLP in one of the states we operate.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
- Proven leadership skills or experience managing a diverse rehab team.
- Strong understanding of operational and financial management in healthcare.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with EMR systems and clinical workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to implement clinical and operational strategies that enhance care delivery.
