the radiology registered technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures including ct, x‑ray, dexa, c‑arm fluoroscopy, and mammography when appropriate. Also transports patients to designated locations for procedures.
complies with department and organization‑wide policies, critical access hospital requirements, safety and infection control, all federal and state of nebraska regulations related to the performance of hospital operations and requirements of the compliance program. Participates in professional growth and development.
specifics- shift: currently required to do four 10‑hour shifts per week but this may change to five 8‑hour shifts*
- weekend rotation: on call every third weekend
- holiday rotation: rotate with other staff members
- charting system: cerner
- unit overview: 15‑bed critical access hospital
- typical staffing: total of 3 techs in the department
- sign on bonus: yes
- vaccine requirements: flu vaccine required or will wear mask during flu season
- associate’s degree from a school with an accredited radiology technology program
- 1‑2 years experience preferred
- current state of nebraska radiography license
- current american registry of radiologic technologists certification
