Mammography Technologist

Valley County Health System has a part-time or full-time opportunity available for a Mammography Technologist to join our team! Primary duties are mammography and additional duties include rotating call for CT and X-Ray.

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsibilities of the Mammography Technologist are to provide expert diagnostic mammography procedures to assure a high level of quality care and service to patients, physicians and customers in and outside the Radiology Department. Multi-modality experience is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Current ARRT Certification
• Current Medical Radiographer licensure in the State of Nebraska
• Provide safe and appropriate care within the standards of practice
• Independent problem-solving skills and self-directed work experience
• Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under normal and/or emergency circumstances.
• Maintain CPR certification
