This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Manager serving as the Director of Pharmacy at a small critical access hospital with 25 beds. The position is a contract-to-hire role located in Broken Bow, NE, offering a day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no on-call duties. The pharmacy environment includes Paragon for order entry and Pyxis automation. The Pharmacy Manager will oversee all pharmacy operations, coordinate staffing, manage sterile compounding processes, and provide leadership to a pharmacy team supported by two pharmacy technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the pharmacy department, ensuring safe and efficient medication use.
- Supervise pharmacy staff and oversee staffing schedules.
- Perform sterile compounding tasks in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support pharmacy operations in a critical access hospital setting.
- Assist with 340B program management as applicable.
Qualifications and Desired
Experience:
- Proven pharmacy supervision or management experience.
- Inpatient hospital pharmacy background is essential.
- Experience in sterile compounding.
- Familiarity with 340B program is beneficial.
Schedule and
Location:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (no on-call).
- Located in Broken Bow, Nebraska.
- 13-week contract with strong potential for direct hire.
