As a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in improving drug usage and therapeutic outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing specialized pharmaceutical services and advising physicians on drug therapy
• Preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements
• Maintaining relationships with medical and nursing staff, offering timely pharmaceutical information
• Conducting medication use reviews and suggesting modifications for optimal patient outcomes
• Ensuring secure storage of medicinal products and maintaining inventory
• Responding to medication-related queries and maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
• Mentoring healthcare professionals in training and providing consulting to contracted LTC facilities

Requirements for this role include:

• Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school and current Nebraska pharmacy license
• PharmD preferred
• Need 3 years experience in retail pharmacy setting
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment with potential exposure to hazardous drugs
