Our client’s Microsoft Business Solutions team is a Microsoft Gold Partner and leader in Microsoft software implementations for medium to large organisations, providing their clients with the ability to keep up with the ever-changing digital world by implementing Microsoft’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Engagement (CE) software from the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) software line.

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a talented Data Architect to support the development and implementation of large-scale Modern Data Platforms, Business Intelligence (BI), and Analytics solutions for our clients. This role is highly technical and requires a thorough understanding of data architecture and modelling concepts. Additionally, it demands strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities are essential, alongside the motivation to achieve results in a dynamic business environment.

Requirements

• Experience in designing and implementing Azure Data solutions using services such as:
• Microsoft Fabric
• Microsoft Power BI
• Solid experience in designing and building data and analytics solutions
• Have working knowledge of Azure Purview
• An understanding of Data Governance frameworks
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-service oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Graduate-level education in Computer Science or a relevant field, or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable level.
• Formal training and/or certification on related technologies is highly valued.
• Solid experience with development approaches such as CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment).
• Working knowledge of Azure Dev Ops
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 products, the Dataverse, and Microsoft Power Platform will be considered an asset.
• 5+ years’ experience in Data and Analytics technologies
• Ability to build strong relationships and shows technical expertise to deliver quality, client-centric solutions using Microsoft technologies.
• Ability to develop robust architectural frameworks and demonstrate technical expertise to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions, ensuring effective preparation and execution of projects.
• Exhibits strong leadership skills, guiding cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives while fostering collaboration and innovation in data architecture solutions.
• Advocate innovation both within the firm and with clients and promotes collaboration amongst teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure documents are consistent in language, terminology, and style.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and manage a range of relationships in a complex environment.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written and listening): an ability to present information concisely, to communicate in a manner applicable to all levels.
