Q'anjob'al Interpreter

Join Rapport International as a Q'anjob'al Interpreter to provide in‑person interpretation services to Nebraska clients. This independent contractor position offers flexible hours, immediate start, and the opportunity to use your cultural knowledge to help non‑English speakers.

• Provide in‑person interpretation for medical, legal, and community services in the Omaha area.
• Attend appointments locally; you must have reliable transportation.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Print and upload vouchers through the online portal.
• Work PRN (as needed) with part‑time or less availability; applicants must have some availability M–F 7 AM–5 PM.

• Fully bilingual in Q'anjob'al and another language.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred.
• Must have access to a printer.
• Technical ability to use online portal.
• Proof of vaccination or qualified exemption required.
