Ukrainian Interpreter at Rapport International

We are seeking hard‑working, fully bilingual Ukrainian interpreters to provide in‑person interpretation for local Nebraska clients. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to make a difference in your community.

Provide in‑person interpretation in medical settings, maintaining strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Use our online portal to print and upload vouchers, and use a printer to submit required documents.

• Fully bilingual in Ukrainian and English
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality / HIPAA compliance
• In‑person interpretation only: must have transportation to local appointments
• Technical skills for learning/using an online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
• Must have access to a printer
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
• Background check and drug screen required
• Schedule is PRN (as needed), part time or less depending on languages spoken; must have some availability M‑F 7 AM‑5 PM as services are typically needed

Independent contractor position with flexible hours. Hours are not guaranteed and are based on availability, languages spoken, and client needs.

All interpreter candidates must provide proof of vaccination as part of the hiring process. Medical or religious exemption requests will be considered. Submit vaccination proof or exemption documentation prior to interview. All medical information will be handled confidentially in accordance with applicable laws.
