: $90,000.00/yr - $/yr

• Manage performance and development of the supply base for assigned category(ies).
• Category/commodity strategy development and execution.
• Total cost improvement.
• Identification, qualification, and selection of new suppliers.
• Develop supplier portfolios by commodity.
• Cost, delivery, quality, warranty, terms management for materials used in production and/or for service and aftermarket shipments for all suppliers and parts within the category(ies).

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain, engineering, or a related discipline and 3–5 years’ experience in supply chain management including strategic and tactical supply.
• Strong negotiation experience and skills.
• Experienced in developing, implementing, and leading supply chain strategy.
• Experience with in a lean manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of business principles involved in category management, supplier quality, transportation, and supply analytics.
• Knowledge of transportation modes for movement of components by air, rail, sea, or road, including relative costs and benefits for domestic and international purchases.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work well with all levels of management and staff.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge and experience with MRP/ERP systems including supplier portals and control towers.
• Travel as required for supplier site visits.
