Inventory Control Specialist; GFS

• Execute scheduled and ad-hoc cycle counts, pick-path verifications, and bin audits to ensure inventory accuracy
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies with root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• Collect and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive process improvements
• Mentor team members on best practices in inventory controls and safety procedures
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead continuous improvement initiatives

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a transaction-intensive warehouse or distribution center environment
• Proficiency in operating material-handling equipment and common office tools (Excel, Word)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognize trends and recommend corrective actions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or relevant certification preferred

• Experience with WMS/inventory-management systems
• Certification in CPIM, Six Sigma, or similar relevant qualifications
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching experience in a warehouse setting
• Familiarity with safety protocols and quality benchmarks in logistics
• Ability to adapt to changing workloads and environments
