1st Shift Electrical Technician

Electrical Assembly Technician – Lindsay, Nebraska

Lindsay Corporation is a global leader in irrigation and infrastructure technology, headquartered in Lindsay, Nebraska. We’re looking for an Electrical Assembly Technician to join our expanding team.

A successful Electronic Assembly Technician will assemble or modify electrical or electronic equipment, such as electrical panels, switch kits, motors, or hydraulic cylinders, and test equipment (e.g., telemetering systems, electric motors, center drives). The role requires working accurately and efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards.

• Read tape measures and blueprints.
• Use caliper gauges and computers.
• Operate hand tools – drills, screwdrivers, etc.
• Perform wiring, assembling, and modifying electrical equipment.
• Work quickly in a fast‑paced environment and meet scheduling demands.
• Perform work accurately and thoroughly, often under stressful conditions.
• Communicate effectively and work well with a variety of personalities.
• Make decisions or take actions to solve problems or reach goals.
• Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.
• Communicate in English.

• Must be able to read a tape measure and blueprints.
• Must have knowledge of caliper gauges and computers.
• Must be familiar with hand tools – drills, screwdrivers, etc.
• Previous wiring experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
