Machine Operator

We have an immediate opening for a Machine Operator 1 to operate machinery used in manufacturing high-quality food packaging products.

Starting Wage: $21 - $25 based on experience, plus Shift Differential of $1.25 for 3rd Shift.

Shift: 1st Shift (6:00am - 2:30pm) & 3rd Shift (10:00pm - 6:15am), Monday through Friday.

• Follow plant safety procedures and guidelines.
• Know emergency procedures and what to do in case of power outages, machine failures, or workplace injuries.
• Wear and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Understand and identify Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
• Report safety issues and any workplace injuries or incidents immediately.
• Participate in safety improvement activities such as Hazard Identification, Safety Suggestions, and Safety Teams.
• Start, stop, or reset machines as needed and report malfunctions.
• Feed and monitor machine speeds during production.
• Perform unskilled production tasks like feeding machines and packing products.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Record product, packaging, and order information accurately.
• Assist colleagues with tasks as needed.
• Follow GMP and plant quality practices.
• Complete required Food Safety training and adhere to Food Safety practices.
