Warehouse Material Handler - 2nd Shift at U.S. Venture, Inc.

The schedule for this position is Sunday - Thursday, 4:00 pm – 12:30 am or until work is completed. Overtime is required as needed. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts in a fast‑paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment.
  • Use scanners to locate and put away tires, and assist with inventory control.
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds; use team lifts or mechanical equipment for commercial tires.
  • When working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires, exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
  • Work at heights of up to 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards.
  • Remain on your feet for extended periods and work overtime as needed.
  • Contribute to our culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures.
  • Assist other departments (e.g., e‑commerce, inventory) as business needs arise.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be qualified as to visual, auditory, physical, and mental ability to operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation. The employee must frequently lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds, and handle commercial tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) using mechanical equipment. Protective equipment required includes steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, and a self‑retracting lifeline (SRL).

All equipment, except steel/composite toe boots, is provided by U.S. Auto Force. The work environment may involve exposure to weather conditions, moderate noise, and fumes associated with tires, car parts, and lubricants.

Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment.
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience.
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires.
  • Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment.
  • Abide by all company safety policies and state/federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines.
  • Pass forklift certification.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Adherence to instructions and safe operating procedures.
  • Team‑oriented mindset.
  • Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test (no THC/marijuana testing).
