Location DescriptionMichael Foods, Inc., located in Bloomfield, Nebraska, is one of our only cage free facilities. The facility is located three miles outside of Northeast Nebraska's busiest community. Bloomfield is a haven for those who prefer small-town life over city living and is located less than 30 miles from recreation areas where you can enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking and camping. Our location produces liquid egg product that is sent to our other facilities for further processing.
ResponsibilitiesJOB SUMMARY: Perform sanitation duties that result in a high standard of sanitation in the breaking, washer and egg belt areas.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for overall equipment cleanliness and sanitation of breaking, washer and associated areas.
- Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly master sanitation schedules for processing area.
- Follow all SOP’s and adhere to the Safe Chemical Handling Policy.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: No prior experience or training.

Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form.

- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Able to do minor disassembly and maintenance on equipment
- Ability to work with water and chemicals while wearing appropriate PPE
- Self motivated and a willingness to learn
