Metal Quest Unlimited is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Tool Crib Attendant to support our CNC manufacturing operations. The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for maintaining an organized and accurate inventory of cutting tools, tooling, gauges, supplies, and other production-related materials while providing timely support to machinists, operators, and setup personnel.

This role plays an important part in keeping production moving by ensuring the right tools and supplies are available when needed, properly maintained, and accurately tracked.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked tool crib.
• Issue and receive cutting tools, tooling, gauges, fixtures, and other production supplies.
• Perform routine inventory counts and identify shortages, discrepancies, damaged items, or obsolete tooling.
• Inspect tools and supplies for damage, wear, or condition and remove items that are no longer suitable for use.
• Assist with tool presetting, tool measurement, or other tooling-related activities as trained.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, machine shop, warehouse, or tool crib environment preferred (but not required)
• Basic understanding of CNC machining and cutting tools is a plus.
• Ability to identify and learn different types of cutting tools, holders, inserts, gauges, and machining supplies.
• Strong organizational and inventory-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (can alter as needed)

• This position requires the use of protective eye equipment at all times while on the production floor.
• This position operates in a standing position for 75% of the time.
• May need to lift or move objects up to 40 lbs., frequently operates manual machinery and computers, and may need to make adjustments to parts of machinery, including bending, stooping, reaching or crouching.
