Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery | Valentine, NE
We’re seeking a dedicated Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment in Valentine, Nebraska. This role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality care and support to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

Contract Length: 13 weeks (with possible extension)
RequirementsActive RN License (Nebraska or Compact Multi-State)
BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required
Minimum of 1–2 years of recent L&D experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills
Must meet pre-employment credentialing requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.)
ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, and postpartum
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, responding promptly to changes
Administer medications, IV fluids, and support physician-ordered interventions
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other members of the healthcare team
Support and educate patients and families throughout the birthing process
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state, and federal care standards
