- day shift (7:00 am - 7:00 pm)
- full-time: 3 shifts per week
- every 3rd weekend rotation required
- holiday rotation required

expectations: rn will be responsible for med/surg, swing bed (skilled), and er patient flow. Bls, acls, pals, and tncc certifications will be required within one year of employment if not already obtained.

position summary: the primary duty and responsibilities of the nurse is the practice of nursing as defined by the state of nebraska nurse practice act. The duties and responsibilities of the nurse include the identificaiton and intervention in actual or potential health probems of individuals, families, or groups. The practice of nursing is directed toward maintaining health status, preventing illness, injury or infirmity, improving health status, and providing care supportive to and/or restorative of life and wellbeing through nursing assessment and throug the execution of nursing care and of diagnostic or therapeutic regimens as prescribed by the licensed practitioner.

- delivers nursing care utilizing standards of clinical nursing practice.
- collect and assess objective and subjective patient health data through observations, examinations, interviews and written records, involving the patient, significant others, and health providers in data collection when appropriate.
- establishes nursing diagnosis based on patient condition or needs.
- establishes goals, outcomes and individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, significant others and other health care providers, when appropriate, to meet the health care needs of the patient.
