Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract assignment in Red Cloud, Nebraska. Whether you're a travel nurse or a Nebraska local, this role offers the chance to support patients in a rural healthcare setting where your work has a real and lasting impact.
Position Overview
As an LPN, you’ll play a vital role in providing direct patient care, monitoring health changes, and ensuring comfort and safety. This role may span multiple care areas, including long-term care, med-surg, or swing-bed—perfect for nurses who enjoy variety and close patient relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care under RN or provider supervision
- Administer medications, treatments, and monitor vital signs
- Assist with ADLs and mobility support
- Observe, report, and document patient condition changes
- Support patients and families with empathy and clear communication
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
- Active Nebraska LPN license (or compact license)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience preferred (LTC, med-surg, or swing-bed a plus)
- Reliable, team-oriented, and compassionate
- Strong communication and time-management skills
