American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele unit requiring a Nebraska or Compact RN license and 1 year of experience.
Requirements- Active RN license in the State of Nebraska or Compact license required
- Minimum 1 year of full-time RN experience required
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited College of Nursing
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- TNCC certification required within first two years of employment
- PALS and NRP certifications
- NIHSS stroke scale certification
- Valid driver's license required
- Rural healthcare experience preferred
- Electronic Health Records experience preferred, with Tru/Bridge/Evident charting system experience a plus
- Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a community hospital
- Day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00-19:00)
- Rotating weekend requirement every 3rd weekend
- Provide nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a rural community hospital setting
- Must reside within a 30-mile radius or be willing to accept local candidate status
