Registered Nurse - Med​/Surg & Emergency Department - PT Nights

Part-time 12-hour shift position, working 1-2 shifts per week (7:00pm-7:00am)
Position eligible for applicable night shift differentials!

The Registered Nurse practices under the supervision of the Director of Acute & Emergency Services. This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care according to SAH policies and procedures. Supports and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights. Provides, prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care with other health care providers to meet holistic needs of patients.

Bachelors degree in nursing preferred

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of Nebraska One year experience in acute and/or emergency room setting preferred

Basic Life Support (BLS) certified

Experience in providing care to a general population preferred

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required or will obtain within 6 months of employment

Trauma Nurse Core Class (TNCC) certification within 1 year of employment
