Located in Pender with a satellite clinic in Emerson, we provide mixed‑animal services to a diverse rural clientele, supported by a team of five veterinarians and a skilled support staff.

Our practice primarily handles large animal work (approximately 70% caseload) including obstetrics, herd health, vaccination programs, and feedlot consulting, as well as small animal primary care and advanced procedures.

We seek a compassionate, team‑oriented Associate Veterinarian who excels in both large and small animal medicine with a special emphasis on bovine care. The role involves collaborating closely with experienced veterinarians and support staff, building strong client relationships, and providing exceptional care in a rural setting. Weekend calls are rotated roughly every fifth weekend to support predictable scheduling.

• Provide thorough veterinary care to large and small animals, emphasizing bovine medicine
• Perform general medicine and surgery procedures
• Collaborate with large animal and small animal technicians
• Engage with clients to communicate care plans and herd health strategies
• Participate actively in calving season, herd health programs, and feedlot consulting

• DVM or equivalent from an accredited university
• Active veterinary license in Nebraska (or ability to obtain)
