  • Provides exemplary customer service following company policies.
  • Assists customers in locating, evaluating, and loading merchandise.
  • Responds to inquiries and provides information on stock, warranties, and Lowe’s programs.
  • Reviews returns, processes sales, and handles refunds per guidelines.
  • Supports front‑end associates, removes security tags, and answers phone calls.
  • Opens additional registers when needed.
• In‑Stock Support
  • Prepares the register area and checks equipment functionality.
  • Inspects returned merchandise and processes online orders.
  • Verifies product information, matches prices, and records store‑use items.
• Clean and Safe Stores
  • Monitors cash drawers and assists with the cash office.
  • Observes and reports shoplifting or security incidents.
  • Maintains housekeeping standards and safety protocols.
  • Operates specialized store equipment as required.
• General – Performed additional duties as assigned.

• Less than 1 year of experience with computers and common retail technologies.
• 1–2 years of cashier experience.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience selling products and handling credit card or warranty transactions.
• 1–2 years as a head cashier or supervisory experience.
• Experience in any Lowe’s department.
• Experience detecting shoplifting.
