• Track maintenance repair and installation; repair and rebuild railroad track, perform maintenance by pulling spikes, cutting, welding, or drilling rail.
• Maintain trackbed: manually compress ballast, remove/install ties, adjust rail, lift and carry materials.
• Operate equipment: power hand tools (drills, impact wrenches, jacks, saws, grinders); non‑powered hand tools.
• Daily work conducted in a safety‑sensitive environment with diverse and extreme weather conditions and other hazards.
• Adhere to safety regulations, rules, and policies, wearing required personal protective equipment and taking action in emergencies.

• Able to work now and in the future without BNSF’s assistance in obtaining, maintaining, or extending employment authorization.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
