About this position
Pacifico Energy develops, finances, builds, and operates energy infrastructure that powers businesses and communities. In the U.S., we are tackling one of the biggest challenges facing AI and large-scale data centers: access to reliable power. Our private grids bring dedicated generation and energy storage directly to customers, helping projects move forward without waiting for traditional utility connections. We draw on Pacifico Energy Group’s experience across the U.S., Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam, spanning solar, wind, battery storage, and natural gas.
Joining Pacifico means helping turn ambitious energy projects into operating infrastructure, with work that connects directly to the people and businesses building the future of AI.
Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project built under a lump-sum EPC contract. As I&C QA Inspector you inspect instruments, cable, cabinets and calibration records — the documentation trail that commissioning depends on when loop checking starts.
What you get to do:
- Inspect field instrument installation, mounting and impulse lines.
- Verify instrument calibration records and certification.
- Inspect control cabinet installation and internal wiring.
- Verify instrument cable installation, segregation and terminations.
- Inspect hazardous area installation compliance.
- Raise and drive closure of nonconformances.
What you bring to the role:
- 7+ years inspecting instrumentation on power or process plants.
- Working knowledge of ISA standards and hazardous area classification.
- Hands-on experience with calibration and loop documentation.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Procore and AI tools used with human verification.
- Technical qualification, or equivalent years of field experience.
Nice to have:
- OSHA 30 — provided by the project after mobilization if you do not already hold it.
