Job Summary

The Grease Route Driver is responsible for operation of a grease collection truck to collect cooking oil while providing quality service to our customers. This position is located at our Omaha Facility.

Shift Time

Monday through Friday; hours will be 01:00 - 10:00 AM with occasional weekend work as needed.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

• Pump or load grease containers; ensure cleanliness of container and surrounding area; return container with screen and lock secured; note any damages to container or corral area; properly complete route ticket with customer signature.
• Responsible for established route as assigned.
• Responsible for company vehicle; keep vehicle in clean condition.
• Conduct all safety checks and inspections of vehicle; operate vehicle under state, federal, local regulations and company policy; observe all company safety rules.
• Attend all safety meetings; may serve on Safety Committee.
• Maintain excellent customer relations by presenting professional appearance and attitude.
• Complete all company required paperwork in accordance with policies (route tickets, driver vehicle inspection reports, accident reports, mileage reports, service forms, etc.).
• Maintain and update vehicle condition report daily.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years old with clean MVR.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a similar vehicle to a grease route truck.
• Current CDL A license holder with proper endorsements.
• Must be registered on .

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior route experience within a customer-oriented environment.
• Works well with others in a team environment.
• Dependable; reliable; ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
• Good math and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle and general maintenance.
