Swagelok Southeast Texas is seeking a dynamic and technically driven Sales Engineer to join our Technical Sales team. This hybrid role blends engineering knowledge with solution-based sales strategy to drive business development and support customers across key accounts.

What You’ll Do:
  • Develop and manage targeted assembly solutions for key accounts.
  • Support Swagelok product sales directly and through collaboration with other members of the sales team.
  • Lead pre‑sale engineering efforts: quoting, estimating, customer communication, and technical solution development.
  • Conduct evaluations and audit services to identify needs and recommend Swagelok solutions.
  • Partner with project managers to develop accurate and detailed custom proposals.
  • Engage with customers for technical consultations, FAT visits, and post‑sale follow‑up.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, trust, and collaboration across departments.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required;
    Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred. At least 4 years of experience in a technical, application‑based selling role.
  • Solid understanding of fluid system components and applied engineering principles.
  • Proven experience working with customers in technical environments—problem‑solving, quoting, and negotiating.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, think strategically, and lead cross‑functional coordination.

  • Strategic thinker with strong interpersonal and influence skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
Additional Details:
  • Work environment:
    Office and occasional factory/shop visits.
  • Travel:
    Up to 10% outside of the service area.
