The Retail Sales Associate supports daily retail operations and contributes to the overall success of Brand Junkie Workwear’s store in Nederland, Texas
. This role is essential in creating an outstanding shopping experience by welcoming customers, assisting with product selection, and ensuring the sales floor remains organized and visually appealing. You’ll be a key part of delivering exceptional service, maintaining store standards, and helping customers find the right workwear solutions to meet their needs.

• Welcome customers with professionalism and enthusiasm, ensuring every guest receives personal attention.
• Assist customers in selecting flame‑resistant (FR) and workwear apparel that meets their needs for safety, comfort, and style.
• Provide accurate sizing and fitting assistance for individual and bulk orders.
• Maintain strong knowledge of store products, including FR materials, ratings, and care instructions.
• Support promotional events, product launches, and sales campaigns in coordination with store leadership.
• Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, and checkout areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Accurately process transactions, returns, and exchanges using the POS system.
• Restock shelves and racks to maintain proper product presentation and availability.
• Report low inventory or damaged items promptly to management.
• Uphold company standards for merchandising, signage, and store presentation.
• Collaborate with team members and management to achieve daily sales goals.
• Assist during peak times, customer rushes, or large group fittings.
• Maintain open and respectful communication with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
• Participate in team meetings, product demonstrations, and ongoing training.
• Follow all company safety and security procedures, including proper handling of FR apparel.
• Help maintain a safe, hazard‑free retail environment for customers and employees.
• Support loss prevention and shrink control measures as directed by management.
• Represent Brand Junkie Workwear with pride and professionalism inside and outside the store.
• Build rapport with local customers, contractors, and industrial crews.
• Uphold the company’s values of honesty, integrity, and respect in every interaction.
• Comply with all company standards as outlined in the employee handbook.

• 1–2 years of retail or customer service experience (apparel and/or FR apparel preferred).
• Friendly and approachable personality with a genuine passion for helping people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and POS proficiency; ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a small, close‑knit team.
• Familiarity with Southeast Texas communities and industrial trades is a plus.

Pay range: 14 - 18 USD per hour (Nederland Workwear Store)
