Young Ones is seeking a QA Engineer to join our team. You will collaborate with the development team and your QA colleague to ensure all deliverables to our clients and users are of the highest quality.

As a QA Engineer at Young Ones, you focus on three key areas:

1. Guarding product quality
You help our feature teams ship great work by testing new functionality, spotting issues early, and maintaining a stable end product. Your work directly increases team focus, product stability, and user satisfaction.

2. Building out automated end 2 end tests in code.
To ensure not all testing has to be done manually, we try to build out as many end 2 end tests as we can. Maintaining this test suite allows us to block releases when something fails, preventing our production environment from going down. You’ll help us implement this goal.

3. Handling the internal bug service desk
You act as a bridge between the business and development teams. You triage incoming issues, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and help ensure bugs are processed efficiently so they don’t slow down delivery

• Processing and communicating bugs coming from our business teams and users;
• Running exploratory tests on new features;
• Building and maintaining regression tests;
• Supporting the rollout of automated tests, ideally with Playwright or React Native testing tools;
• Collaborating with developers, PMs, and other QA colleagues to raise the quality bar;
• Helping monitor platform stability and ensuring issues are quickly caught.

• A mid to late-Medior QA professional with a proven track record;
• Solid experience in automated testing, with a preference for Playwright or React Native;
• Exceptional exploratory testing skills to uncover critical issues;
• Comfortable working with stakeholders and managing a steady flow of incoming issues;
• A proactive attitude and a keen interest in actively contributing to and shaping our evolving QA discipline;
• Nice to have: experience with automated testing for mobile apps.

• A gross salary commensurate with your experience, ranging from €3,200 to €4,500, based on a full-time contract;
