. We are currently looking for a full-time Staff Accountant working from the Boston Area to take ownership of core accounting functions and help ensure accurate financial operations across the company.
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and collections / customer follow-up
- Lead and execute month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform account reconciliations (e.g., bank, credit card, balance sheet accounts)
- Prepare and record accruals for expenses and revenue as part of month-end close
- Monthly reporting:
Salary, group reports, and cash flow/aging - Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Payroll administration:
Support in preparing monthly payroll administration together with our external payroll administration company - Support annual tax filings and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward certification preferred
- 4–7 years of professional accounting experience, ideally in a small or mid-sized company environment
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of software productivity tools (SAP ByD, Lucanet, Sales Force) is an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organizational skills: ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Work Independently at times and together with Managing Director
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Location:
Boston Area - US citizen / work authorization
