January 2026 through June 2026
This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with a minimum of 5 days per week onsite in Needham, MA. There is no relocation or housing assistance for this position.
CompensationRanges from $26/hr - $35/hr specific compensation is set according to a standardized scale aligned with your educational level at the time of hire.

RoleThe CMF (Color, Material & Finish) Industrial Design Co-op reports to the CMF Senior Team and Design Directors, collaborating with global teams across Shark and Ninja brands. You will also work with Engineering, Marketing, and Creative to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities- Assist in the management of CMF development for all new products
- Create, track and maintain color specifications ()
- Develop proposals for color palettes targeted for different retailers
- Collect, organize, archive CMF samples from suppliers into a material library
- Track consumer trends and contribute to trend reports
- Develop an understanding of manufacturing processes to craft well-made products
- Assist in the development and implementation of complex and innovative concepts
- Interact daily with the APAC manufacturing team and suppliers
- Work closely with the Compliance team
- Support UI design, icon design, and rating/warning label creation
- Education:
Applicants must be in at least their third year of a bachelor’s program, enrolled in a master’s program, or have graduated from either program within the past year - Strong aptitude for Keyshot rendering
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week onsite in Needham, MA
- Strong skills in the Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Interest in color communication toward international standards
- Familiarity with Pantone, NCS, SPI, Yick Sang, Mold-Tech, etc.
