Early Childhood Substitute Teacher

The Tobin Beaudet Schools is seeking a warm, nurturing early childhood Substitute Teacher to support planned and unplanned staffing gaps in our classrooms. This is a flexible position based on staffing needs and availability. There will be opportunities to fill in for part-time (4-5-hour shifts) and/or full-time (40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts) between the hours of 7:30 am-6 pm. This educator will support the teaching team with child supervision, ensuring compliance with all safety and sanitation protocols.

The school provides a variety of experiences and activities designed to encourage children to learn about themselves, their friends, and their surroundings through small and large group experiences, quiet times and active play, as well as indoor and outdoor activities. In addition to our robust developmentally appropriate curriculum with the opportunity for creativity and teacher input.

Successful applicants have or are working toward EEC Preschool Teacher certification, as well as early childhood teaching experience.

Competitive hourly rate based on education and experience, $23-$26/hr
