Role Summary

The Investment Operations team enables and supports investment activity across a diverse range of asset classes and investment structures. These include both internally managed strategies and external mandates spanning public and private markets, pooled vehicles, and separate accounts. The team is seeking an experienced Senior Investment Operations Analyst to take a lead role in the ongoing enhancement and day‑to‑day support of the firm’s Order Management System (OMS).

This role plays a critical part in trade lifecycle oversight, counter party engagement, portfolio compliance, and the expansion of trading capabilities across global markets.

The successful candidate will bring a strong background in investment operations, a solid understanding of regulatory and risk considerations, advanced technical aptitude, and a continuous improvement mindset. This position requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to operate effectively within a lean, highly engaged team.

Key Responsibilities Trade Operations & Portfolio Support
  • Oversee daily post‑trade processing, reconciliation, and settlement activities for equity and fixed income transactions
  • Ensure timely resolution of trade breaks and accurate updates across core investment systems
  • Coordinate onboarding and relationship management for trading counter parties
  • Assist with the introduction of new instruments and market access in both developed and emerging regions
Compliance Oversight
  • Perform ongoing portfolio monitoring using daily, weekly, and monthly compliance checks
  • Build, maintain, and test compliance rules within OMS platforms such as Bloomberg AIM
  • Support internal reporting and escalation of compliance‑related findings
Systems & Data Management
  • Establish and maintain accounts, securities, and portfolio structures across investment platforms
  • Monitor data feeds and position integrity, including start‑of‑day reviews and non‑custodied asset updates
Process Improvement & Automation
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and partner with internal and external stakeholders to implement enhancements
  • Support automation efforts designed to reduce risk, improve accuracy, and increase scalability
External Manager Coordination
  • Reconcile external manager trading activity and performance reporting
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across internal systems and third‑party data sources
Reporting & Controls
  • Own recurring operational and management reports
  • Maintain detailed documentation of processes, controls, and procedures to support audit readiness
Projects & Strategic Initiatives
  • Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives aimed at strengthening investment operations infrastructure and capabilities
Required Experience
  • 5–10 years of experience in investment operations, ideally within institutional asset management, insurance, or similar environments
  • Hands‑on experience supporting OMS platforms and trade compliance workflows
  • Strong knowledge of global post‑trade processing and settlement conventions
  • Familiarity with portfolio accounting concepts and reporting requirements is strongly preferred
  • Technical experience with databases or data management tools is a plus
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field

The annual compensation range for this role is $117,280 to $168,600, with final offers determined by experience, education, and skill set.
