Part‑time, non‑exempt
Hourly Range: $33.41 – $41.47
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. (30 hours / week)
This position requires attendance at all ZBA meetings; evening availability is required.
Responsibilities- Perform professional, administrative, and technical assistance to the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Planning & Community Development Department.
- Assist and advise others in the interpretation of the Town’s Zoning bylaws.
- Respond to questions on zoning, planning, and affordable housing matters.
- Assist applicants in working through the regulatory process of the ZBA.
- Exemplary communication skills.
- Understanding of Massachusetts general laws, Chapter 40A and 40B.
- Passion to support the Needham community.
