- Conduct 1:1 therapy sessions with clients.
- Follow prescribed skill acquisition and behavior support plans.
- Collect data, write therapy notes, and communicate progress with parents and caregivers (guided by a BCBA).
- Assist the BCBA in preparing client materials.
- Attend required trainings and maintain knowledge of BACB guidelines.
- Work toward becoming or maintain status as an RBT.
- Maintain a positive working environment.
- Must be able to lift and carry clients weighing at least 30 pounds.
- Ability to restrain, hold, transport, and perform quick body movements as directed in the behavior support plan.
- Maintain varied postures (kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling, sitting, standing, bending) for extended periods.
- Maintain a three‑foot distance while walking or running to chase clients.
- Attend to basic needs: feeding, diapering, toileting, dressing.
- Manual dexterity for computer and electronic device use.
- Good visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication.
- Transfer written data to electronic records.
- Operate on a computer for prolonged periods.
- Assemble, clean, and maintain therapy space.
- Administer medication to clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and be detail‑oriented.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet team and client needs.
- Professional integrity and ethical conduct.
- Experience working with children ages 2‑12 in classrooms, day‑care, 1:1 settings, or instructional childcare.
- Experience implementing principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, preferably in educational or allied health settings.
Pay ranges from $19‑$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
