Shark Ninja is seeking a dynamic and innovative Vice President, Total Rewards with this mindset to lead the Global Total Rewards team. The Vice President, Total Rewards is a key member of the People & Culture leadership team, responsible for designing, developing, and executing the company’s global total rewards strategy to include all levels of compensation, rewards, benefits, HRIS and analytics globally.
The Vice President, Total Rewards ensures the company’s programs are unique to Shark Ninja, competitive, equitable, compliant, and aligned with business objectives to attract, motivate, and retain top talent.
Total Rewards Strategy
- Develop and lead a comprehensive global Total Rewards strategy, including executive compensation, broad-based compensation, incentive programs, equity programs, and benefits plans
- Partner with the CEO, CHRO, and Board of Directors Compensation Committee to design and manage executive and Board compensation and ensure alignment with shareholder interests
- Oversee annual compensation planning, salary structures, market benchmarking, and job architecture
- Design innovative recognition and reward programs that reinforce company culture and performance
- Oversee the strategy and management of global health, welfare, retirement, and wellness programs
- Ensure benefit plans are cost-effective, competitive, and compliant with local and international regulations
- Evaluate and enhance employee value propositions through benefits innovation
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s global HRIS platforms and related HR technology systems
- Drive HR digital transformation, ensuring systems deliver accurate people data, analytics, and insights to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with data privacy laws and internal policies
- Serve as an advisor to the CHRO & CEO on all Total Rewards matters
- Manage, develop, and mentor a high-performing Total Rewards team
- Stay current with market trends, legal and regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure the company’s programs remain competitive and compliant
- Establish governance frameworks, policies, and processes for compensation, benefits, and HR systems
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, including executive compensation, broad-based compensation, and benefits
- 3+ years leading HRIS functions and HR technology implementations
- Proven experience managing programs in large, complex, global organizations with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Deep knowledge of compensation and benefits regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC, ERISA, global tax and labor laws)
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior executives
- Experience leading and developing diverse, high-performing teams
- Strong analytical and financial skills with a strategic mindset
