Shark Ninja is currently looking to hire an SEO Manager who is motivated, has great organizational skills, and most importantly has deep SEO experience. The SEO Manager is responsible for implementing tactics in line with Shark Ninja’s SEO Strategy and Roadmap across our US and Canada sites.
Reporting to the Senior Global SEO Manager, the SEO Manager will work in/with the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team to identify and address technical improvements to the website, perform keyword and competitive research to inform our content strategy and implement all onsite SEO efforts. As the SEO Manager, you should be an experienced SEO who is on top of the trends, technologies, and strategies that are effective in improving organic search performance.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Actioning initiatives from the SEO roadmap for Shark Ninja websites in US and Canada
- Undertake regular site crawls and technical audits to identify areas for on-site improvement
- Implement technical optimizations across the Shark and Ninja websites via the CMS or dedicated stakeholders, and in collaboration with the Development as required
- Work closely with the Development and Experience team to advise on the SEO impact of site changes
- Monitor and produce regular and ad‑hoc reports on search rankings and competitor landscape
- Conduct thorough keyword research and use this to write and implement targeted updates to meta titles, descriptions, H1s and other on‑page content changes to drive performance
- Work with Marketing teams to transform keyword research and competitor gap analysis for new and existing product ranges into actionable briefs, identifying opportunities to drive relevant organic traffic
- Report on success and failure with weekly, monthly and quarterly metrics reporting, giving insight to key business stakeholders
- Advocate SEO best practices and the benefits of SEO to the wider team
- Maintain an up‑to‑date understanding of the current state of SEO across: technical SEO, on-page/content optimization, inbound‑linking & authority development
- 3-5 years in an SEO role
- A solid understanding of SEO and demonstrable success, ideally in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work autonomously and own projects from start to finish
- Deep understanding of the SEO process, including on page and off page
- Strong experience with industry‑standard tools such as Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Page Speed Insights , and more
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with strong organizational skills
- Excellent knowledge of search engine criteria/algorithm updates (Panda, Penguin)
- Fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, and Java Script
- Ability to devise creative SEO solutions across complex websites
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual / French is plus but not required
This is a hybrid role from our Needham MA, location - 3 days a week in office.
Salary and Other CompensationThe annual salary range for this position is $112,000 — $168,000 USD. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
