Vice President of Program Management

Join Shark Ninja’s global team as the Vice President of Program Management, a strategic program leader operating in Needham USA, London UK and China.

Overview

As Vice President of Program Management for Shark Product Development, you will serve as the program leader to our teams in Needham, USA, London, UK and China. You will maintain detailed views of the dependencies of all deliverables of an integrated connected product schedule and rapidly communicate complex issues to executives, highlight risks and connect the dots back to overall program status.

Responsibilities
  • Provide program leadership for system integration on new product initiatives from conception through release and management.
  • Ensure work is understood, planned, delivered on time and with quality.
  • Own product strategy, program logistics and schedule.
  • Lead a large cross‑functional team of high‑performing engineers to deliver software and firmware required at all stages of new product development.
  • Establish program milestones, drive alignment toward a common vision and execute strategic goals.
  • Understand technical requirements, dependencies and team capabilities, define risk mitigation strategies, identify and communicate risks to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate teams by translating concepts into program plans, clarifying priorities, coordinating deliverables and solving unexpected issues.
  • Know when and how to ship quality products and services.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative metrics to advance programs through the shipping cycle.
  • Drive program consensus, influence and rally teams to meet goals.
  • Demonstrate relentless ownership of program success.
  • Act as liaison between cross‑functional teams working on new programs.
Required Attributes & Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, engineering or related business/management field (highly desired).
  • 10‑15+ years of direct program‑management leadership experience in a consumer goods company focusing on home appliances and related categories.
  • Experience driving all areas of new product development within program ownership.
  • Assertive, confident and capable.
  • Accountable to deliver all program elements from ideation to end‑of‑life.
  • Able to cultivate and lead a high‑performing team that delivers results.
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills; experienced addressing C‑Suite, peer functional groups, suppliers and customers.
  • Cross‑functional leadership skills.
  • Strong bias to action and accountability.
  • Intermediate working‑level skills with MS Project (or similar), Excel, PPT and Visio.
  • High energy, positive attitude and detail oriented.
  • Presentation skills – must be proficient with PowerPoint and comfortable presenting to executive management.
Salary and Other Compensation

Annual salary range: $198,800 – $304,800 USD.
