Milestone/Retention Bonus $3,000 First-Year Bonus Opportunity Receive up to $3,000 in additional compensation throughout the first year, distributed through regular bonus payments based on eligibility and continued employment.

Introduction The Residential Registered Nurse / MAP Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compliant healthcare services across the Residential Department s position provides oversight in:
Healthcare quality assurance while maintaining a non-case-carrying role.

The position offers a consistent work schedule with regular shifts and no weekend responsibilities, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

This role serves as a key resource for staff, families, and individuals supported by the organization and is responsible for:

Coordinating Medication Administration Program (MAP) training and compliance

Managing MOR documentation

Ensuring regulatory adherence according to DDS and DPH standards

The position drives continuous quality improvement by auditing nursing practices, supporting staff development, and ensuring medical policies align with best practices and state/federal requirements. Requires clinical expertise, leadership, and a collaborative approach to foster teamwork and accountability.

Essential Program Duties Other duties may be assigned

Quality Assurance Develop, interpret, and ensure consistent application of policies and procedures related to medical/nursing record keeping

Ensure compliance with state and federal requirements

Conduct audits of healthcare records and develop documentation tools as needed

Monitor implementation of health plans through auditing and documentation

Compile compliance data to identify trends and areas for improvement

Conduct and follow up on interdisciplinary Health Care Oversight Committee meetings quarterly

Nursing Consultation, Case Management & Coordination Assess individuals’ ability to self-medicate

Maintain relationships with healthcare providers and understand insurance/Medicare/Medicaid regulations

Health Care Training Provide MAP certification training and exam preparation

Conduct refresher courses and maintain MAP documentation

Ensure facilities maintain DPH certification for medication administration

Stay current on DDS, DPH, and MAP regulationsMAP Coordination Oversee MAP trainings and procedures ensuring compliance with regulations

Monitor MOR reporting and required retraining according to agency policies
