Description
Wellesley Family care is a thriving primary care practice based in Needham, Massachusetts. We are a private (independent) practice affiliated with Mass General Brigham with a focus on individualized evidence-based care for the whole family. We also highly value teamwork and collaboration and have built a team culture of safety, competence, and fun. We currently have twenty-two primary care providers on our team and have a strong growth trajectory into new business and practice initiatives.
We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who enjoys hands-on patient care to join our practice.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a full-time, fully in-office member of our clinical team, on site five days per week. This role is centered on hands-on, in-person nursing care. The LPN’s primary focus is conducting scheduled nurse visits and performing point-of-care testing (POCT) for our patients. When nurse visits and testing are complete, the LPN supports the nursing team with protocol-based telephone triage, helping patients get the right level of care at the right time.
The LPN works under the direction of our providers and registered nurses and within the scope of practice defined by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who enjoys direct patient contact, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to be part of a collaborative, supportive primary care team.
