Leasing Manager – Retail & Grocery-Anchored Portfolio
Reports to:
SVP of Leasing
We’re looking for a hands‑on Leasing Manager to execute leasing strategy across a growing portfolio of grocery‑anchored and community retail centers. This role has real ownership—over deals, broker relationships, and tenant mix—and a direct impact on portfolio performance.

What you’ll do- Lead leasing execution across a mixed‑use and grocery‑anchored retail portfolio
- Manage and direct third‑party leasing brokers to hit aggressive leasing targets
- Drive a strategic merchandising plan that complements anchors and boosts foot traffic
- Negotiate retail lease transactions (new deals, renewals, expansions, amendments, assignments)
- Draft and finalize LOIs in partnership with legal and internal teams
- Proactively source and convert tenant prospects through brokers, outreach, and meetings
- Partner with Development, Construction, Marketing, Property Management, and Accounting to support openings and ongoing tenant needs
- Provide guidance and direction to other Leasing professionals
- 5+ years of commercial real estate leasing experience (Retail required)
- Strong retail lease negotiation and deal execution skills
- Experience managing brokers and multiple active deals
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Yardi, VTS, CoStar/Loop Net, or similar platforms
- Local candidates
- High‑visibility role with direct access to leadership
- Ownership over leasing strategy and execution
- Portfolio focused on long‑term value, not just vacancy fill
