We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our growing customer centric sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing some of IDC's most strategic and specific client relationships within the technology sector. This role will be focused on delivering results to the company and the best possible customer experience to our valued clients. You will work closely with our product teams to deliver customized market intelligence solutions that meet unique client needs, driving opportunities forward from discovery to closure.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing clients in the IT and technology sectors across all IDC product lines.
- Deliver the best possible customer experience to our clients daily.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of existing accounts to maintain and expand the current revenue base.
- Understand client needs and challenges and match them with appropriate research solutions from IDC.
- Prepare proposals, conduct client presentations, and negotiate contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Meet or exceed sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and accurate forecasting in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development -- preferably in market research or IT services.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong understanding of the IT industry, including enterprise technologies, software, hardware, cloud computing, cybersecurity, digital transformation and AI.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales enablement tools.

At IDC, we are committed to fair and equitable pay practices. Salary range and total annual compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process and depend on location and experience. The expected total annual compensation is between $150,000 - $225,000 and includes base salary and commission.
