**** Purpose Statement:
**** Supply Chain Solutions - Sourcing:
Responsible for negotiating lowest total cost of ownership, terms for assigned commodities. Support sites in achieving customer satisfaction with associated cost, quality, delivery, and working capital.
**** Key Job Accountabilities:
***** Obtain clear, detailed understanding of proposal strategy and communicate with the Commodity Team. Manage quotation requests with appropriate suppliers to ensure industry competitive component pricing within the requested time frame.
* Understand the marketplace and maintain knowledge of the key suppliers and manufacturers.
* Participate in Executive Proposal Review to address any materials related questions and/or concerns. Present professional approach to suppliers as required during the quotation process.
* Establish and maintain relationships with key manufacturers and matrix suppliers to ensure Plexus Corporation receives registered and/or contracted pricing for all applicable components.

Qualifications:

***** Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
