The annual compensation range for this position is stated below. The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range: $97,900.00 - $

Purpose Statement

Responsible for identifying materials suitable for corporate contracts within assigned commodity scope. Responsible for developing and administering contracts which take full advantage of the total corporate volume and developing supply chain strategies to yield component contracts at the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Responsible for generating forecast and total purchase reports for management as required.

Key Job Accountabilities
  • Develop, communicate, and execute the forward growth strategy for assigned commodities. Conduct industry research and have a high degree of business knowledge of the manufacturers, suppliers and market place.
  • Establish performance objectives and associated metrics for the Commodities Group. Track the performance and report progress on a monthly or quarterly basis as directed.
  • Support sites in the region when critical component escalations arise.
  • Provide necessary guidance and support to the organization on the commodity strategy.
  • Cultivate and maintain regional and global strategic supplier relationships with their executives for all major component types within assigned commodities.
Education / Experience Qualifications
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience.

  • Procurement, supply chain, distribution, and logistics competence
  • Strong experience driving KPIs
  • Demonstrated commodity management expertise
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization
