Youth Respite Caregiver Pay: $17.98/hour
Schedule:
Flexible mix of days and evenings between 8:00am - 8:00pm. Monday – Friday, plus Sundays 3:00pm – 8:00pm.
Hours:
~15 per week.

We’re looking for an energetic, reliable, and caring Youth Respite Caregiver to support an awesome 10-year-old on the Autism spectrum. This kiddo is full of life, joy, and curiosity and loves staying active.
Whether it’s exploring outside, zooming around on ice skates, or creating masterpieces with markers and glue, there’s never a dull moment.
- Engaging in active play (tree climbing skills not required, but enthusiasm encouraged!)
- Supporting a child who thrives on movement and creativity
- Offering companionship, supervision, and a positive attitude
- Bringing patience, empathy, and good communication to each shift
- Making a genuine difference in a family's life
- Must be 18+ years old
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Someone dependable, communicative, and most importantly FUN
- Experience with neurodiverse children is a bonus; kindness and willingness to learn are key

Who is Community Horizons? Community Horizons provides support to individuals and families enrolled in self-directed care programs across Wisconsin, including services through Managed Care Organizations, IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct), and the Children’s Long-Term Support (CLTS) program. Self-direction allows participants to make their own choices selecting who provides their care and how those services are delivered.
