Role SummaryAs a Construction Manager, you will maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers. You will follow all safety and environmental policies and participate in pre‑construction processes, site visits, risk identification, construction methodology, scheduling, estimating meetings, and support estimating activities. You may supervise and assist various supervisors to schedule work and resources efficiently, working with PE’s/PM to update schedules.
Responsibilities- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture.
- Follow all safety and environmental policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Conduct site visits to identify best construction routes.
- Identify risks, determine construction methodology and schedules.
- Participate in estimating meetings providing rates for activities.
- Support estimating activities with manpower, equipment, and resources.
- Supervise and assist Superintendents and Foremen to schedule work, crews, tools, and equipment for efficiency and minimal travel.
- Work with PE’s/PM to update project schedules.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience with 345kV, 500kV, 765kV transmission lines.
- OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training.
- Valid driver license and acceptable driving record.
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in construction of 765kV high voltage transmission projects.
- Ability to work with advanced computer software.
- Experience estimating large projects in terms of value and duration.
