Job DescriptionJoin us as a Technician and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automated electronic assembly equipment. This position involves setup, programming, thermal profiling, and proactive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Training and development are provided.
Responsibilities- Perform light maintenance and repairs on SMT equipment; identify root causes of failures and implement solutions.
- Utilize CIM/CAM/CAD data to create machine‑positioning programs aligned with customer specifications.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and assist in developing product build techniques.
- Create thermal profiles to ensure compliance with industry standards and process yield requirements.
- Conduct statistical measurements (CPK/PPK) to maintain process control and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams, provide technical leadership, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Electromechanical proficiency
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and CAD/CAM data
- Knowledge of SMT equipment operation and maintenance
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement
Skills & Qualifications
- Preferred: 1 year completed of an Associate’s degree in electromechanical, manufacturing systems, or related field.
- Alternative:
Diploma in Electronics, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Science. - Minimum 1 year of related experience required; 1–3 years preferred in electro‑mechanical or maintenance roles.
- Equivalent education/experience combination considered.
Contract position based out of Neenah, WI.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $36.06/hr.
