Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts starting at 5:30 PM

• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract

• Weekend requirements as needed (could be every weekend to every other weekend depending on unit needs)

• Holiday coverage as needed

• No on-call or callback requirements

• Float throughout facility within skillset and to all Theda Care facilities within 60-mile radius

• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 with RN paired with support staff (LPN/CNA) based on acuity

• Primary cases include Med/Surg, COVID patients, pre/post catheterization, and post pacemaker care

• Occasional pediatric patients (rare)

Required:

Wisconsin RN License and AHA BLS certification

• Minimum 3+ years RN experience and 1 travel contract required

• EPIC charting experience within the last year required

• Previous travel experience required - no travelers within 50 miles of Theda Care Corporate Center

• Must be hard working, resilient, manage change well, and have strong social skills

• Black scrubs required

• Associate degree or certificate required

• 8-hour unbillable orientation

The facility maintains a new staffing model that pairs registered nurses with support staff to optimize patient care delivery. The organization provides a range of specialized services including cardiac catheterization and pacemaker procedures, and maintains high standards for nursing experience and competency with modern electronic health record systems.

Adex Job  . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
