Key Job Accountabilities
  • Create and execute a working account plan that includes strategies to increase profitable revenue, account penetration, and engagement points across manufacturing, engineering, and sustaining services.
  • Advocate for customer needs and represent Plexus interests, translating requirements into actions that meet or exceed customer satisfaction goals.
  • Lead a cross‑functional team that includes engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, costing, financial, and legal experts to ensure sustained customer success.
  • Set and achieve clear financial objectives, proactively managing the customer P&L to exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Build executive‑level relationships, understand customer business models, and partner with key Plexus functions to deepen the relationship.
  • Master Plexus sales enablement methodology and continuously improve customer satisfaction and “stickiness.”
Education / Experience Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 12+ years of related experience (equivalent combinations of education and experience considered).
Other Qualifications
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to make sound, logical decisions autonomously.
  • Master’s solution selling approach and financial acumen to influence customers.
  • Basic understanding of electronics manufacturing.
  • General office equipment familiarity.
Physical Requirements
  • Professional office environment; may require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk with a computer.
Travel Requirements
  • More than 40% travel.
