Receiving Inspector – Plexus Corp.

Responsibilities- Execute repetitive inspections, visual checks and functional tests on inbound material according to the Inspection Plan.
- Utilize inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges and inspection jigs to verify dimensional compliance.
- Record inspection data accurately and maintain documentation.
- Collaborate with Supplier Quality Technicians and Engineers to ensure adherence to part specifications and critical characteristics.
- Identify and segregate non-conforming material, supporting purges and internal screening.
- Communicate quality and documentation issues to Buyers and Supplier Quality Engineers, keeping supervisors informed and escalating when necessary.
- Stay current on role-related certifications and training requirements.
- High School diploma required.
- Less than 1 year of related experience required; 1+ years preferred.
- Combination of education and experience sufficient for job duties may be considered.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work overtime, nights, various shifts and weekends as needed.
- Experience with materials equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, barcode scanners, personal computers).
- Capability to alternate or maintain standing, walking, and lifting up to 45 pounds.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE.
- Knowledge of equipment such as height gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
- Ability to keep up-to-date with procedures, standards, and training.
- Work in an electro‑mechanical manufacturing environment with required PPE.
- Primarily standing and sitting, with occasional lifting and material movement.
- Less than 40% travel.

The annual compensation range for this position is $37,700.00 – $56,500.00, based on location, experience, education and skill level.
