Process Technician

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00/HR

Duties:

• Set up, tune, troubleshoot, and optimize extrusion tooling and processes to ensure quality and production efficiency.
• Identify and resolve processing, tooling, and equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
• Assist with the implementation, testing, and validation of new tooling and process improvements.
• Train and support production personnel on extrusion processes, equipment operation, and best practices.
• Monitor production performance and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and production documents.
• Operate and utilize a variety of production machinery, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Perform process adjustments and tooling modifications as needed to meet product specifications.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Maintain accurate records related to process changes, troubleshooting activities, and production support.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of profile extrusion experience required.
• Experience troubleshooting extrusion tooling and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment, machinery, and related production systems.
• Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring devices accurately.
• Maintenance experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to train and support production employees effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn, follow established plans, and adapt to changing production needs.
